Quan Zheng (郑权) is an Associate Professor at Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences (new page). Prior to that, he spent two precious years at Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Germany working with Prof. Gurprit Singh and Prof. Hans-Peter Seidel. Before that he was a postdoc at University of Maryland, College Park in the USA, supervised by Prof. Matthias Zwicker. He obtained the Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research is at the intersection of computer graphics and machine learning, with broad research interest in rendering, sampling, computational imaging, computational photography, etc.
